• [Social Justice] ESL (English as a Second Language) Program for Adults is in its second year. We want to equip people with English so that they can access health services, get more secure jobs, talk with their children, and live as able citizens in North Penn. Pray for our ESL students so that they will learn well and that their experience with the good news of Jesus will be positive.

• [Missions] Missions Fundraising Bazaar, Saturday, May 19, 4pm onwards. CityPeace is helping to fundraise for MPC Missions. To prepare, we have a meeting on Tuesday 6pm, 3260 Morris Rd. There will be food, presentations and garagesale, etc. Please take a Flyer and place in well-visited establishment. All funds goes to missions.

• [Discipleship] Women’s Bible Study meets on second and fourth Thursday evenings at 7:30. Next meeting is May 24. We are studying Linda Dillow’s book, Calm My Anxious Heart, a woman’s guide to finding contentment. Please speak to Lisa or Sarah Na.

• [Social Justice] For Summer Day Camp 2012, the preparations are finally under way. SDC is CityPeace largest missions/social justice project—we want to make North Penn a better place for families. Application to be a teacher or administrator is due this week, which can be found at citypeace.net/smtp. All participants must survive Summer Missions Training Program (SMTP) which begins May 16 Wednesday, ends June 23. Volunteers can sign-up at citypeace.net/sdcvolunteer

• [Community] The CityPeace’s facebook group (where we can interact, be informed of the next event, etc.) is called the “CityPeace FaceGroup.” For college students, the facebook group is called the “College Saturday HomeGroup.”

• [Fellowship] Women’s Stamping Party and Luncheon: Don’t miss out on our annual gathering on Saturday, June 9th, 12-3pm, 1210 Browning Ct. A light lunch will be provided with by loads of creativity and fun. Please RSVP to Lisa.
