• [Social Justice, Outreach] We need ESL teachers for ESL (English as a Second Language) Program for Adults that starts its second year, starting on Feb 9, 2012. Please speak to Lisa today.

• [Prayer] Wednesday Prayers, Jan 25, 7pm-8, at 3260 Morris Road, new part of the building. “We can reach our world, if we will. The greatest lack today is not people or funds. The greatest need is prayer.” —Wesley Duewel, head of OMS International

• [Fellowship] Saturday HomeGroup for College, Jan 28, 7:30pm, 1210 Browning Ct, Lansdale.

• [MCCC] Lunchtime Fellowship returns this Wednesday, 12:20, Parkhouse Hall.

• [Temple] TempleUnited Connect will soon start for the Spring semester.

• [Fellowship] Please pray with the Leading Team of CityPeace, as we prepare to better care for CityPeace folks with changes in our homegroups (small groups) in the next month or so. John Piper challenges the daydream of Christians who want to experience real joy in the gospel yet do not participate in small groups: One of my first questions in dealing with a joyless saint is, “Are you in a small group of believers who care for each other and pray for each other and ‘consider how to stir one another up to love’? Usually the answer is no.”

• [Kingdom Partnership] Young Adult United Conference is March 9-10, 2012 (Fri 7pm-Sat 10pm) for young adults—both singles and young couples (dating, engaged or married). Courtyard by Marriott 600 Campus Drive Collegeville, PA. Speaker, Doug Logan. Cost with Lodging: $40/per person in a 4-person room; Fri and Sat w/out Lodging: $35/per person; for one day: $30. We HIGHLY encourage you to sleep over the hotel. ** DEADLINE FOR RETREAT SIGNUP IS Friday, FEBRUARY 10, 2012. To register, go to citypeace.net/youngadultsunited or goto graceptchurch.org/youngadultretreat.htm

Last year we had over 50 young adults join us for the first young adult united conference. We had young adults from Gracepoint Church, Church of Love, CityPeace Church, Cornerstone Church and other local churches. Given that the young adult Christian population from 18-mid 30’s is the lowest percentage makeup of the church, we see the importance and necessity of having a conference such as this to encourage, sharpen and equip young adults in the local Philadelphia area to come together for His Kingdom.
