Wednesday Prayer Meeting
The gospel says that because we are so much more incapable (and sinful), that our own efforts and power will not be enough to change situations and hearts. Yet, the gospel (good news) is that God is able and willing to change (us, hearts, even situations if need be) for His own glory. God has demonstrated that He is able through Jesus’ work on the cross. That means that when we get the gospel, we are less dependent on ourselves but more dependent on God through the cross. That’s prayer. And prayer like that will change character, our community, our world.
To quote Jack Miller, “Prayer connects cross and character.”
To encourage gospel-driven prayer that will change us to change North Penn, we gather on Wednesday evenings, 7-8pm at 3260 Morris Road.
